Our History
Our Founder, Jim
Dimitris “Jim” Geanekos founded Jim’s in Alameda in the year 1960. Having recently emmigrated from Greece, he opened up the small diner on Lincoln Ave in the main part of town where he ran it as a to go window until he expanded it into a full service restaurant. Fast forward to today, he is happily retired and his son Tom owns and operates the main restaurant and in 2007 expanded a second location on the Corica Park's Golf Course.

We have a great indoor dining space which includes a To-Go Counter if you're in a rush, getting take out, or stocking up on snacks for the course. We also have a large traditional indoor seating area where you can bring your family and friends and share a lovely meal together. We also have a full bar area with several TVs. Bring your friends and watch your favorite team while enjoying our expert made cocktails or one of our large selection of beers.

We also have a great outdoor patio that is family and pet friendly. Both our front and side patios are available most of the year (weather permitting) and are equipped with ambient lighting and music throughout the day. We have large umbrellas covering our patios as well if you want to keep cool on those super hot days. Both of our patio spaces are also available to reserve for EVENTS. Make sure and specify if you'd like to have your event there when you book with us.
